A Sampling of our Work
FemFinance helps clients - down the street and around the globe - build processes and conduct research to realize more inclusive financial products and policies.
Faced with increasing insurance premiums, decreasing coverage, and a shifting policy landscape, small business owners face difficult choices in offering meaningful health benefits for their teams. FemFinance worked with a leading global insurance firm to conduct human-centered research in two US cities to better understand owner needs, provider constraints, and reimagine health insurance products to meet those needs.
Regulatory environments evolve, best practices shift as new data are brought to bear. As a trainer with the Fletcher Leadership Program for Financial Inclusion, FemFinance has offered strategic support, curricular design , and training on problem solving methodologies that allow policymakers to advance inclusive policies based on sound data. We've worked with FLPFI cohorts in the US, Brazil, Egypt, Rwanda, and virtually.
As part of a cross-sector global team, FemFinance managed the work of local human-centered design consultants in Dhaka, Bangladesh to conduct three rounds of field testing to inform feature design of a national bill payment system. We centered the field team's expertise, while bringing methodological experience to ensure the voices of women users were intentionally elevated in prototyping and implementation.
